Australia’s active hospital-based surveillance for severe childhood disease
Children aged 12 years and older are recommended to get COVID-19 vaccine and vaccination roll out for this age group is underway in Australia. The National Centre for Immunisation Research and Surveillance (NCIRS) has developed a new resource answering some of the most frequently asked questions (FAQs) about COVID-19 in children.
The resource includes questions and answers on the severity of COVID-19 in children, vaccines available for children in Australia, safety of vaccines and COVID-19 in schools.
